Emotinal intelligence and the whole child
A training session for teachers, teaching assistants
and other support staff. The course will cover an introduction to
the importance of emothional intelligence, it will explore initiatives
and practice developed by schools and nurseries to help children to
thrive in this area, and to help staff to contribute with greater confidence
to childrens emotional learning.

Teachers and teaching assistants
working together
This is whole school training. It aims to help staff
members come to terms with the changing role of the teaching assistant,
and to develop effective joint practice. The course will aim to: equip
teachers with th necessary skills for the constructive management of
teaching assistants. Help to build excellent working
relationships, and support systems within the classroom and whole school
community. During the day Teachers and teaching assistants will work
separately and together to explore these issues.
